Flags of War Monmouth Rebellion

If you are like me won over to the Front Rank Monmouth Rebellion figs you will be thinking of 28mm flags for both armies and luckily Flags of War have provided an excellent set. See them here

Northstar 1672

Originally sold as Glory of the Sun by Copplestones these figures are now remarketed. See them here.

Coronation of James II and Mary Modena

Good source for the clothing of 1685

French exploration in the 1660s and 70s

I like this photo of French Canadians in the 1660 and 70s.
French in Wisconsin site for more photos and explanation.

Here's me (on the right) playing Nathaniel Wade (Monmouth Rebel) for a tv programme for children. This was about 12 years ago. The other guy is portraying Ferguson.

Monmouth Rebels in 28mm
